Bymar-Park: Efficiency and Profitability

The challenge: Reducing energy costs and gaining independence

For Víctor, manager of Bymar-Park, the dependence on energy suppliers was a constant challenge. “Every month we are charged for excess power, and energy price fluctuations significantly affect us,” he says. With high consumption due to the servers in their industrial warehouse and the continuous charging of two vans and an electric car used to provide maintenance services throughout Catalonia, reducing costs became a priority.

To minimize their energy bill, Bymar-Park decided to invest in solar panel installation, taking advantage of the fact that most of their energy consumption occurs during the day.

However, they still need solutions for the nighttime charging of their electric vehicles. For this reason, they plan to incorporate batteries in the future, which will allow them to achieve even greater energy independence.

The solution: Installation of a high-efficiency photovoltaic system

Bymar-Park worked with Sunhero to design and implement a photovoltaic system tailored to their specific needs. In just eight weeks, Sunhero completed the installation of 112 solar panels of 565 W each, equipped with a power optimizer, achieving a total installed capacity of 63.3 kWp.

Additionally, the system is complemented by two hybrid inverters, ready for the future incorporation of batteries, maximizing the system’s flexibility and efficiency.

The solar panels were installed on the pitched sandwich panel roof of their industrial warehouse, optimizing solar energy capture throughout the day. This solution not only covers a significant part of their daytime energy needs but is also prepared to evolve with the company’s future needs.
