Subsidies for the installation of solar panels in Marbella

Next Generation

The Next Generation programme offers grants of up to 40% for the installation of solar panels. These European funds are not currently available, but all the bonuses we show you below are still available.

IBI Discount

The Marbella City Council offers a 25% discount on Property Tax (IBI) for properties that install solar panels. This discount applies for 5 years after the installation.

ICIO Discount

Businesses that install solar panels in Marbella can also benefit from a 95% discount on the Construction, Installations, and Works Tax (ICIO).

IRPF Deduction

Installing solar panels may also entitle you to a 20% deduction on Personal Income Tax (IRPF). This deduction applies for 4 years.

Another noteworthy project is the installation of solar panels on the roof of the Marbella Conference and Exhibition Centre, aimed at reducing the building’s energy consumption and promoting the use of renewable energy in public facilities.
